Here I will explain how to make an awesome PopUp to collect email addresses or increase social shares. This feature is easily integrated with our theme and it will save you time from searching ways to implement this on your website. Ok, let's explain the WeCodeArt PopUp box features, characteristics and options.
This is a simple JS plugin and with some clicks you will have a nice popup. You can use to display any type of content. By default, the plugin has 1 day cookie and will be show to visitors on their 1st visit.


Where to find the PopUp box ?

There are 2 ways to customize your PopUp. One is from Blogger Design Dashboard and another directly from the Front End.
In the screenshot bellow you have an example.


You can also edit the box content and it's state (on or off) directly from the Font-End. This button only appear if you are logged in as an Admin.
Bellow you have an example on how to identify the PopUp Options.


Widget Defaults

  • Show only on first visit
  • 1 day cookie before it will be show again

Widget Options

  • Title - write a number here to enable the box - if is empty it won't show
  • Content - the PopUp content: Use this to display any HTML/iFrame/Javascript
Cookie Options:
  • 0 - show on overy pageload 
  • 1 - one day until next popup show
  • 2 - two days until next popup show
  • 3 - three days until next popup show
  • x - number = days until next popup show

Please note: Do not unlock and remove this widget because it will be lost forever and a template reinstall is required to have it again. If you dont want to use it then leave the title empty and it will be disabled.

We have 4 commenting systems, yes FOUR, and the template still loads very fast and without errors in the JS console. By default, all are enabled. You can replace Blogger with Google comments or you can disable Blogger/Google and use Facebook or Disqus. Your choice! ....and this message ? You can set it in Google Dashboard.

PopDown Box - Reload if you want to see it again !

Empty title is disabled, 0 is for every pageload and any number for setting cookies
